Can the Firestone RubberCover EPDM membrane be ballasted?
Yes, it is possible to cover the membrane with gravel, pavers or bankirai wood but the membrane must always be fully adhered to the substrate. Firestone recommends the use of a protective geotextile (polyester 300 g/m²) between the membrane and the ballast.

We provide a 20 year membrane only  warranty.
My new roof has puddles on it. Does this matter?

The membrane will follow the exact contours of the decking. Any slight dips may cause water to collect.

Ponding on a roof is quite common, is nothing to worry about and will not affect the lifespan of the membrane.

My roof has some chalky marks on it, is this ok?

These marks are quite normal and will disappear after weathering. It is just excess mica dust used in the manufacturing process.
